Welcome to BSSC Community Chinese Classes for Heritage Learners, part of our Confucius Classroom Program! We are committed to helping Chinese background students preserve and strengthen their connection to the Chinese language and culture. Held every Monday after school at Bendigo Senior Secondary College Language Centre, our classes provide a supportive environment where students can develop their linguistic and cultural skills.

Our 2025 program offers 3-4 levels of classes tailored to students from Prep to Year 8, ensuring learning is aligned with each student’s pace and abilities. All classes are conducted in Putonghua (Standard Mandarin Chinese) to create an immersive experience that fosters natural language acquisition. This structured approach enables students to grow confidently in their language skills while connecting with their heritage.

我们的课程在2025年分为3-4个级别，适合学前班至八年级的学生，根据每位学生的学习节奏和需求进行安排。所有课程均以普通话授课，打造沉浸式的语言环境，帮助学生自然习得中文。这种系统化的教学方式，不仅让学生在语言学习上更自信，也帮助他们更紧密地连接自己的文化根源。

At BSSC Community Chinese Classes, our mission is to empower students and their families by preserving their cultural heritage and strengthening their language skills. Through a combination of language immersion and cultural education, we aim to cultivate a strong sense of identity and appreciation for Chinese traditions, preparing students to confidently embrace their bilingual and bicultural futures.
